Tomorrow is thanksgiving, a time where our hearts turn to thinking of all the things we have to be grateful for. At Dorie's Promise this has been a year of blessings. New grass, a patio, and most recently a playset for the children are some of the things the come to mind. We are thankful for children like Carlos Enrique, and Elyel who found forever families here in Guatemala. Or Abigail, Jonathan and Gerson who were returned to their families. We are thankful that several of our student were able to attend El Shaddai, a private school, and receive more personalized help with their education. We are thankful for Dr. Castro, and everything he does for our children. This year he has been directly responsible for saving lives here at Dories Promise.
We would not have been able to do all of this without the help, prayer and support of you, our friends. We are thankful for you- the ones who make our work possible. You bless our work through your prayers, notes of encouragement, engaging with us on mission trips, and faithful support. Thank you for making Dorie's Promise a safe and wonderful place for the forgotten children of Guatemala.
