Forever Changed International is a growing movement of donors, staff, supporters, and volunteers—united by a shared commitment to transform the lives of vulnerable children in Guatemala. Our work isn’t driven by just one person or team—it’s powered by thousands who believe every child deserves love, dignity, and a future.

Forever Changed International (FCI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Camas, Washington. We own and operate Dorie’s Promise, a private orphan care home in Guatemala City.

At Dorie’s Promise, our holistic approach to orphan care allows children to grow and thrive in a loving, nurturing environment. Our team of trained professionals—including pediatricians, teachers, social workers, and caregivers—provides each child with the emotional, educational, physical, and spiritual care they need to heal and flourish.

Our short-term mission program invites individuals, families, and groups to spend a week serving with us in Guatemala. Participants support our home, engage in community outreach, and experience firsthand the beauty and challenges of life in Guatemala. These trips also provide vital financial support to sustain our ongoing work.
