The people who make a home feel safe

The people who make a home feel safe

A warm welcome to Ingrid

The people who care for our children every day play a big role in helping our home feel safe, stable, and full of love.

That’s why we’re so thankful for Ingrid, social worker and mom, one of the newest members of our team. She brings years of experience working with vulnerable children and women, but more than that, she brings kindness, patience, and genuine care for the children at Forever Changed International.

When asked how she feels about working at Forever Changed, she shared:

“During these eight months, I’ve learned how important it is to connect with the mission of the organization. Knowing that your work can change the lives of these children, and that you can be part of that change in a meaningful and positive way, matters deeply. I’m passionate about my work, and I also see in each child an innocence that stays with you. Many have suffered, but even through that, they can brighten your day with a simple phrase or a meaningful hug. There’s satisfaction in knowing that everything we do is for them. My profession is rooted in that human side.”

The children feel that care too. In these past months, Ingrid has built strong relationships with many of them. They feel comfortable around her, trust her, and enjoy spending time with her. Through simple daily moments, she’s helped children feel seen, heard, and loved.

One of the activities Ingrid helps organize is sibling visitation and reunions. Some of our children have siblings living at Forever Changed, while others have siblings living outside the home. Creating opportunities for them to spend time together is deeply important. These moments help strengthen their relationships and remind them that those family bonds still matter.

We’re so thankful for Ingrid and the care she brings to our home each day.

Behind every child at Forever Changed is someone caring for them, listening to them, encouraging them, and helping them heal. Your support helps us hire qualified staff who truly care about the children and their needs. It helps provide stability, emotional support, and daily care from people who are committed to walking alongside them.

Because of your support, children at Forever Changed are surrounded by adults who love them well.

Thank you for being part of that.
