Karla is one of them.
When Karla arrived with her younger sister, Joselin, her condition was heartbreaking. At nine years old, she had never received medical care or attended school. She lived with a disability that made it impossible for her to walk, and even simple communication was a challenge.
But her story didn’t end there.
At Forever Changed, Karla was surrounded with intentional, Christ-centered care. She received medical attention, therapy, and daily support from a team committed to helping her grow. Step by step, she became stronger. She began to learn, to communicate, and then, one day, she stood.
Soon after, she began taking steps.
Today, Karla is walking, attending a specialized school, and continuing to thrive. Just as importantly, her family has been strengthened through support and guidance, allowing her to return home while continuing her education and care.
This is the heart of Forever Changed International.
We step into difficult stories and, through love, consistency, and faith, help children experience healing, growth, and restoration. Many of the children who come into our care have never seen a doctor, never been in a classroom, and never experienced the stability every child deserves.
