Education is one of the most important aspects of childhood development! That’s why, at Dorie’s Promise, we take each child’s education very seriously. We offer a variety of educational options to meet the specific needs of the children in our care, ensuring they receive the best possible support.
A Tailored Approach to Learning
Many of our children participate in the ISEA education program (homeschool), accredited by the Ministry of Education, where they learn from home. This program covers students from first grade through their final year of high school. Since some grades have only one or two students, we group them by level:
- First through third graders
- Third and fourth graders
- Fifth and sixth graders
Although they share classrooms and learning spaces, lessons and explanations remain tailored to each grade level. This approach fosters collaboration and peer support while ensuring individual needs are met.

Benefits of Group Learning
Grouping students helps them support each other, particularly since many learn at different paces and require reinforcement of key concepts. The school year is divided into three learning units, each ending with evaluations based on the topics studied. The final grade is determined by the results of these units.
At the beginning of each year, we conduct individual assessments to evaluate literacy and math skills. While many children struggle with reading and writing, we find that they excel in math. We use this enthusiasm for numbers to strengthen their skills in other subjects as well.

A Well-Rounded Education
From Monday to Thursday, children participate in various learning activities. On Fridays, they take part in sports classes, as required by the Ministry of Education. To encourage creativity and emotional expression, they also receive music or art lessons once a week.
Additionally, we organize special events such as Science Week and Spelling Bee contests. These activities excite and engage the children, allowing them to showcase their creativity and innovation. Last year, we even set up a small marketplace where they could practice real-world skills!

Alternative Education Options
Some of our younger children, after completing the early stimulation program, attend an external preschool. Additionally, certain children in primary or secondary school study at a private institution. These students are selected based on their academic independence and social adaptability.
After their morning classes, children attending private schools receive tutoring and supervision for their homework. As they grow, we focus on instilling responsibility and independence. However, if a child faces academic challenges, we guide them through ISEA, where we can provide customized support tailored to their needs.

Personalized Support for Academic Success
Recognizing that every child has unique learning needs, we also offer specialized tutoring and personalized education plans. Our dedicated team ensures that each child receives the guidance and support necessary to reach their full potential.
At Dorie’s Promise, education goes beyond academics—it’s about shaping confident, curious children who are prepared to face their future with courage.
