Little by Little: A Journey of Growth

Every child’s story unfolds in its own time. Daniela is still new to the home, and these past few months have been a time of adjustment, care, and quiet growth.

When she first arrived, everything felt unfamiliar. She missed her family deeply, and even now, they are often on her mind. But little by little, Daniela has begun to settle in. Through daily routines and the love around her, she is starting to find a sense of belonging.

She has made new friends and enjoys spending time playing with the other girls. These moments together are helping her to build connection and trust.

Mornings have become a meaningful part of her day. She loves having her hair done by the moms, and recently, she has even started learning how to do the other girls’ hair. It’s a small detail, but one that reflects growing confidence and a desire to care for others.

Daniela also finds joy in being active. Whether it’s walking through the neighborhood, riding bikes, or playing games together, these moments bring lightness and fun to her days. Back at home, she enjoys the meals they share and the snacks she takes to school.

At school, Daniela is in second grade and continues to learn and grow. She especially enjoys art and music, where she can express herself and discover new things each week.

Her journey is not about big, sudden changes, but about steady steps forward. With time, patience, and love, Daniela is adapting to life at our home, finding joy, building relationships, and growing stronger each day.
